Do you have any example files you could provide where this issue happens consistently? You can send them in a private message if you'd prefer not to post them for others to see. We will only use the file to test for any issue you report based on the instructions you provide. Any further information or instructions on how to make DG16 crash would be very helpful.

I believe you have a user objects leak occurring constantly that progressively slows down the software, and when it hits 10,000 user objects, it crashes. Sometimes it will crash before the 10,000 limit, but the count is always very high. I believe this affects the speed of the software as it gets higher... This has nothing to do with any particular files that have been, or are being created.

My software also crashes if I try to open 5 or more files. It doesn't like stacking numbers.

I also have issues with the program just shutting down.
We use a custom color palette that was created in DG 15.
If i try to add a color to this palette in DG16 the software closes.
This also happens if i add a color to a New empty color palette.
No error message, just closes and disappears.

Today, I have been experiencing more than normal shutdowns. A few times it shut down after it recovered all my unsaved files but as soon as I tried to click on an element to edit it. In the past hour, it's shut down 5 times, with various actions, still nothing specific.

I have also had lots of crashes. Today specifically using the monogram on new file creation. If more than one opened, it crashed. So frustrating because you have to keep doing it over again. I have Illustrator Extreme 15.1.73.6300

I also have the same problem, DG16 crashes randomly sometimes simply opening the menu, other times moving the text or resizing a section, and, also saving my work every minute, however, I lost the changes and had to redo everything.
I use Windows 10 1903 on PC i7 12GB of RAM with DG16 v 16.0.0.7035 Creator.

02/20/2020 update
DG16.exe and DesignSpooler.exe continue to crash systematically, I have already formatted Windows 10 several times but the problem persists, therefore, I analyzed the crashes and I noticed that the error always occurs on the ucrtbase.dll library. This software is very powerful, and can do lots of wonderful things. However I have definitely got into the habit of pressing save after EVERY SINGLE thing I do. It crashes all the time, has to be one of the most unstable piece of software I have ever used. Hopefully the next update can resolve this, it is very frustrating and not very good from a $10,000 software.
I use a gaming laptop that should have zero issues running this software.

I'm having this problem too.

3-When you want to trade start and end points. This in bug in the Software.
4- Import of Vektorfiles of Adobe only whit files of the Abdobe 98. new Adobe Files 2020 the program can't open. And the mode Copy / Past have don't works good.

I'm trying to put my Threads in the same order as my machines! Madeira poly 40 using the Thread palettes. anytime I change the order, code and or color the software crashes. I'm sending the stich file over with barcode turned on so it picks the color automatically. no other applications are running. windows 10-64

Yes i have update to 16.1.2.7290 and i have deinstall clear all and istall new and the same Problems.
the update even made a few things worse.
Toolbar no longer works properly. after 20 minutes you can't press anything anymore the program freezes slowly until nothing works. and in 3D mode it always crashes.

Try turning off your ribbon interface.
User settings-environment-display-uncheck use ribbon interface...
This should help crashing and performance.
Post back if it works...

I am using maestro version 16.1.2.7290, with this last update it doesn't shut down as often as it did before.
What does happen more often is, while designing, some functions stop working, but I still have the opportunity to save the file Im working in.
When that happens I can save the file, shut down DG16, re-start it and work on in the file I've closed without losing anything.
Maybe it's an idea to launch a Mac version, I would appreciate that

Programm shout down STRG+C / STRG+V Adobe2020 (because import over files don't go i must save in Adobe8 - abobe 8 is of the year 1998 win98)

I also am having this issue. I will be digitizing and the software just shuts down. this happens on both desktops that I am using with DG16. I try to save after every function so I don't lose what I have digitized... There doesn't seem to be any specific function that triggers this. I am using DG16 Maestro. I also rolled back the latest update to a link sent from Pulse to take it to 16.0.0.7035. This didn't change anything, still crashes.

I'm digitizing with pulse since version 9 and every version or update had the same problem, I have 2 keys, one maestro and one illustrator extreme, they both shut down once in a while, so I think this will never change

This happens to me as well. Running DG16 Creator on Windows 10. Luckily I've always been able to recreate the designs I was working on when it shuts down. Sometimes when I reopen, it asks me if I want to recover the jobs I was working on......but not always......

This probloem has been going on for over a year!!
I'VE POSTED ABOUT THIS ISSUE SEVERAL TIMES !!!
Its is always the same reply from Pulse with no solution!!
There is no specific thing causing the shut down it just crashes constantly!!
