How do you cut holes in a background fill?

I've got the DG15 Artist Plus version of the software and haven't been able to find a way to cut out shapes inside the borders of a complex fill.
Is this some sort of purchaseable tool?
Edit:
The way to cut holes in a fill is the same as it was in DG14

Hi Jeff,
Yes, many of the features work the same way in Tajima DG15 by Pulse as they do in DG/ML14, so the Quick Tip Tutorial videos for DG/ML14 are still very relevant.
