random is an fill pattern, but when I go tot Tools/manage/fill paterns, random is disappaers. I want to change some settings in random fill and save them for genearl use. But how must I do this?

Hi Mac Ryan. If you want to reuse the settings for a Random Fill, you can save them as a Preset. Here’s how:
To create a new preset using Random Fill:
1. Go to Tools > Manage > Presets.
2. Click New in the bottom-left corner of the pop-up.
3. Select Complex Fill from the side panel.
4. Check the box next to Fill Pattern and set it to Random.
5. Adjust any additional settings as needed.
6. Go to the top menu and click File > Save.
To make this preset available in future designs:
1. Go to Tools > Manage > Presets.
2. Make sure Presets is selected.
3. Change the top dropdown from Presets to Preset Sets.
4. Choose Basics, then click Open.
5. Select your newly created presets.
6. Click Save, then close the window.
Please note that once a preset has been created, it will only appear in new designs.

Point 6 Click View>save? must this be CLick File>save?

You’re right, the correct instruction is Click File > Save, not View > Save. Thank you for the correction.
