Then you can copy and paste it, but this is the long route. I totally agree with you that Symbol tool will be faster to create some elements which you need more frequently.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Hi Keri, so I have a few designs that have segments or objects that I would like to use over again in possible future designs. I thought I could make that part I want to use again into an element and see that in Elements view in a totally new design, but it seems like the Elements can only be seen in the file they were created in. So then I wondered if what I was trying to achieve would be best done by creating symbols out of those segments or objects.]]></description>
